Arabian Challenge Day 51 - Bahrain's National Museum (3)

Okay, this is the last entry about the National Museum. I want to focus on customs a little bit. One hall in the museum was dedicated solely to customs, which was really interesting. I read nearly all of the signs (which I normally don't do).
Above: Please read the stuff written on the photo and make up your own mind!
Below: Koran School which is obligatory and where the Mutawwa (teacher) teaches the Koran. I will post an entry about those mutawwas at another stage. There are lots of them in Riyadh.
Below is about the wedding night. I am interested in the "intensified singing of the idda"...  ;-)

Above: An early example of mindmapping!  But in fact, it is a thousand years old mathematics script.
Below: An ID of the heir apparent to the throne when he wanted to travel to India. This was given to him by the British authorities back in the days. It's very interesting to read and it shows how perverted colonialism actually is.
